In its recently published quarterly report Byggmax confirmed the roughly 15 per cent downturn in sales between January and March that was revealed at the start of April.  The drop in sales was due mainly to its Skånska Byggvaror distribution channel.

One of Byggmax's initiatives for the channel is to advance the new garden concept with ten openings this year. Seven of these took place before Easter.
The online segment is also to be expanded. Sales in the online exclusive product categories increased by 20 per cent in the last quarter.
